Platform Agreement

Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using the performance-based creator earning platform.

Last Updated: June 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Data Principal") and ClipRaft ("Platform", "Data Fiduciary") regarding your access to and use of our platform services.

1. Platform Performance Earning

ClipRaft provides performance-based rewards (RPM) to content creators ("Clippers") based on view milestones of brand campaign materials. No followers are required. However, campaigns must follow the guidelines listed inside each campaign card. Payments are processed only after content is verified and fraud checks are completed.

2. Accuracy of User Information & DPDP Duties

Under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), users are under a duty **not to provide false or misleading information** when registering or using data protection features. Specifically:

User Obligation Under DPDP Section 15:

You must provide only authentic and accurate information (including name, email, UPI ID, and social connections). Providing false identities, misleading documents, or filing frivolous/false complaints with the Data Protection Officer or DPBI is a violation of both the Act and these Terms, and may result in account termination and legal action.

3. Verification & Compliance

Brands registering on the platform must provide valid business details, PAN, and GST numbers (where applicable). Clippers agree to the automated and manual verification of views, likes, and analytics of submitted video clips. Any artificial inflation of views (e.g. view bots) will result in immediate suspension, rejection of submissions, and forfeiture of wallet balance.

4. Data Deletion on Account Termination

If you choose to withdraw your consent to data processing or request account erasure through the user settings dashboard, ClipRaft will immediately terminate your account access and securely erase your personal data from all active systems within 48 hours, except where retention is required under statutory law (e.g., tax records for brand transactions).

5. Consent & Withdrawal of Consent (DPDP Section 6 & 12)

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, your consent must be free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous with a clear affirmative action. You may withdraw your consent at any time through the Settings page. Upon withdrawal:

  • We will cease processing your personal data within a reasonable time (not exceeding 48 hours).
  • We will erase your data unless retention is necessary for a legitimate purpose or required by law.
  • Withdrawal of consent is as easy as giving consent.

6. Protection of Children's Data (DPDP Section 9)

ClipRaft does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must provide verifiable parental or guardian consent before registering. We do not process personal data of children for purposes of tracking, behavioural advertising, or profiling.

7. Penalties & Enforcement (DPDP Schedule 1)

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, non-compliance by Data Fiduciaries may attract significant penalties:

  • Breach of personal data: Up to INR 250 crore.
  • Failure to implement reasonable security safeguards: Up to INR 250 crore.
  • Failure to notify the Board and affected Data Principals of a breach: Up to INR 200 crore.
  • Non-compliance with provisions of the Act: Up to INR 50 crore.
